The European Culinary Trophy is a competition between hotels of the IHG group and Lapithus Hotel Management group, franchise member of IHG.
Each hotel has a team of 2 chefs and 2 service members.
The kitchen teams have to prepare a 4 course menu in a certain period of time. The service team is rated on their service and knowledge of products, wine/spice combination and a wine contest. All teams are judged by an experienced jury.
The teams get the opportunity to choose products from a Fresh Food Market and wine cellar but are not informed what is available – so the winner will be the one with the best skills and creativity…
